I hail from the beautiful United States, currently settled in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee. My journey through the tobacco industry began after graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Agriculture and Plant Science. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the biggest names in the business, starting my career at Philip Morris International. After gaining invaluable knowledge and experience there, I moved on to British American Tobacco, where I specialized in tobacco blending and quality control.
My 25-year adventure in this industry has given me the opportunity to travel around the globe, exploring different tobacco types and crafting distinctive blends. I received the esteemed Golden Leaf Award in 2020 for my work in improving the quality control process, which is one of my proudest moments.
Apart from my professional life, I am an avid outdoorsman. I enjoy fishing, camping, and hiking. There’s something about the tranquility of nature that complements my love for the nuanced world of tobacco. I also have a deep appreciation for jazz music, and I find the complexities of both jazz and tobacco share many parallels.
My accomplishments, though fulfilling, are not the end of the journey. There is so much more to explore, and I am eager to share those experiences with you as I continue to delve deeper into the world of tobacco.
